ASTM A269 grade covers seamless and welded austenitic steel with nominal wall thickness. The ASTM A269 Tubing has a good chemical composition and is utilized in applications in low or high temperature systems that are susceptible to general corrosion. They cover items of different material types and wall thicknesses, ASTM A269 Stainless Steel Tube is a high-strength component that has excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion that is generally seen in 300 grade steel. The versatile ASME SA269 Tube is a pressurized vessel grade that is a common feature across high-temperature applications. The tubes in this grade are very robust and don’t easily disorientate or get damaged by high pressures.

The ASME SA269 Seamless Stainless Steel Tube is a high-strength grade designed via an extrusion process. Here hot steel billets are passed through the metal, creating a tube without any welds or seams. These unique properties give these modules the capacity to work in high temperatures and have 20% higher load-bearing capacity compared to a welded tube grade, ASTM A269 SS Welded Tube is a cost-effective alternative to the seamless tube. The tubes are produced as strips or sheets are rolled followed by welding them in place using standard welding procedures. Apart from this, they can be shaped in customizable sizes and dimensions that are not possible with seamless tubes, The A289 Stainless Steel Tubing has been subjected to vigorous testing and screening before they are shipped.
